How the exothermic welding help carry out lightning protection project ?

Lightning protection engineering is one of the indispensable supporting safety measures for modern buildings. It is to prevent or reduce personal injury and loss of cultural relics and property caused by lightning strikes. Lightning protection exothermic grounding connectors  projects should be designed and constructed according to local conditions, and be safe, reliable, technologically advanced, and economical. 

The air-termination part

Air-termination devices generally have four forms: lightning rods (rods), lightning belts, lightning cables and lightning nets. According to different buildings and their protection scope, different air-termination forms are used. In reality, the commonly used air-termination devices mainly include lightning rods, exothermic grounding connectors  lightning strips and lightning cables. In the lightning protection project, the main content of the air-termination part is as follows:
●The type and arrangement of air-termination;
●Calculation of air-termination protection range;
●Air-termination materials, specifications, connection methods and anti-corrosion measures.

Lead down the line

Down-conductor is the conductor that conducts lightning current from the air-termination device to the grounding device. The main contents of exothermic grounding connectors  down-conductor in lightning protection projects are as follows:
●The number, distance and arrangement of the lead wires;
●Downwire material specifications, connection methods and anti-corrosion measures;
●The distance between the down conductor and nearby metal objects;
●Disconnect card settings.

Equipotential bonding

Equipotential bonding is to connect separate metal objects directly to the conductor or to the lightning protection device via the surge protector, which can reduce the potential difference caused by the lightning current. In lightning exothermic grounding connectors  protection engineering, the main content of equipotential connection is as follows:
●There should be total equipotential, local equipotential and auxiliary equipotential connections;
●When the protection object is a building, the large-size metal components combined with the building and the metal pipelines entering and leaving the building should be equipotentially connected;
●When the protection object is an electronic system, there should be exothermic welding manufacturers  an equipotential connection structure of the electronic system equipment room;
●Material, specification, connection method and anti-corrosion measures of equipotential bonding conductor;
●When the equipotential connection fails to meet the lightning protection requirements, a corresponding separation distance should be made.
